Delete your account in the app

1. Open Guardian Angel Timer (the app, or guardianangeltimer.com) and sign in.
2. Go to Settings, then Delete account.
3. Type DELETE and confirm.

For your security, if you signed in more than 10 minutes ago, you will be asked to sign in again first. You can't delete your account while a safety timer is running: stop the timer first. Your account is deleted right away, and you are signed out.

Or delete your personal data and keep your account

In Settings, Delete all personal data removes your emergency contacts, medical information and photo, phone number, saved places, safety timer and alert history, and AI sponsor chat, and turns off texts. Your login and name stay, so you can keep using the app. This does not cancel monthly donations, and your donation records and supporter-wall entry stay. Records of your agreement to receive texts are kept as legal proof of consent, no longer linked to you.

If you can't sign in

Email support@guardianangeltimer.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete your account.

What is deleted

If a safety timer is still running on another device, it is stopped first, so no alert is sent. Then we delete:

• Your login (your email and password, or your Google sign-in to this app; your Google account itself is not affected) and your profile.
• Your phone number and its verification.
• Your emergency contacts.
• Your medical and responder information, and your photo.
• Your saved places.
• Your safety timer history and emergency alert history.
• Your AI sponsor chat.
• Your name and message on the supporter wall.

What we keep, and why

• Records of your agreement to receive texts (the phone number, the wording you agreed to, and when). We keep them as legal proof of consent, no longer linked to you, for as long as the law requires.
• Donation records (amount, date and payment reference), for tax records. Your name and message are removed from them.

Monthly donations are cancelled immediately, so you won't be charged again.

Other companies that keep their own records

• Twilio sends our texts and calls, and keeps its own records of the messages sent.
• Stripe processes donations, and keeps its own records of payments.
• The AI sponsor chat is processed by Google Gemini, through Lovable's AI gateway.

Their own privacy policies apply to the records they keep.
