By creating an account or using Guardian Angel Timer, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Guardian Angel Timer is a harm-reduction tool, not a replacement for emergency services. In a medical emergency, you should call 911 or your local emergency number immediately. The app cannot guarantee that alerts will be delivered, that a contact will respond, or that help will arrive in time.
You must be 18 or older to use the app. You must create an account and provide accurate information to use the safety timer. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for any activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to use Guardian Angel Timer only for lawful personal safety purposes. You may not misuse the alert system, attempt to access another user's account, or interfere with the app's operation.
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain control over your personal data and may delete it from the app at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app owner and operators are not liable for any harm, injury, or damages arising from your use of Guardian Angel Timer, including missed alerts, delayed notifications, or inaccurate medical information. You use the app at your own risk.
Before you can use the app, you must check a box to expressly consent to receive automated SMS messages from Guardian Angel Timer relating to safety timers and emergency alerts. The box appears when you sign up and on the consent screen shown after you sign in. These messages include one-time verification codes, test messages, verification messages to the emergency contacts you add, and automated emergency alerts sent to your designated emergency contacts when a safety timer expires. SMS messaging is required to use the safety timer, because the timer works by sending texts. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, and Guardian Angel Timer is provided free of charge. We record the date and time your consent was given.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any Guardian Angel Timer message to stop texts to that phone number. If you reply STOP from your own number, Guardian Angel Timer can no longer text you, including verification codes. If an emergency contact replies STOP, they will no longer receive your emergency alerts by text. Reply HELP for help, or contact us through the app. There is no setting in the app to turn texts off; replying STOP is how you opt out. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
The AI Sponsor is automated AI, not a person. It is not medical advice, not a counselor, and not crisis care, and it can be wrong. Never rely on it in an emergency: call 911, or call or text 988.
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
